Hello to one and all,

We know that we have gone past the 40th Anniversary Point but it been found in the past that a get together in the autumn is convenient for more of us rather than during the summer/winter times.

Well at last here is the information from the meeting Pete Kidd, Bob Jones and myself had on Saturday afternoon.

It will be up to you to book and arrange your accommodation for the weekend.

The plan is to arrive during afternoon/evening of 29th September and the suggested place to staying is:

Meet in the bar during the evening at the Brewers Fayre.

Pete is to investigate organising a coach for us all so we need to start collating numbers of people attending to determine size of coach etc so that Pete can get quotations.

Pete has arranged with Cosford for them to accept a visit from us on the morning of Saturday, 30th September. Pete is to be in touch with them again to see what can be arranged a visit to Fulton Block (home sweet home!!)
and the Photo School. Of course a tour around the camp.

We will then go on over to the Cosford Museum for a while and probably have a lunch break there. Afterwards Pete is looking at organising entrance to one of the many Iron Bridge Gorge Museums similar to last time we went there.

Last time some of the ladies had stated they would have preferred something else so if there are some who would prefer a "Pamper Afternoon" then Pete & Ang' will look into organising something along the lines of a swim and a massage or similar at a local hotel leisure centre.

Those remaining would then go onto one of the museums and we would return to collect anyone who wished for a "Pamper Afternoon" and return everyone to either the Premier Travel Inn or the Days Inn.

On the Saturday evening we would get together in the bar for a swapping of old lags tales etc.

Obviously once we have numbers and who wishes to do what, we may have to ask you to forward deposits so that Pete can arrange the bookings necessary for group entrances, Leisure centre charges and of course the coach hire.

So we would be grateful if you could as soon as possible, contact myself ASAP declaring your interest and if your wife/partner will accompany you and also if you would both prefer to do the Iron Bridge Museum trip or go to the leisure centre for a "Pamper Session" for the ladies. I will then pass the details onto with Pete and Bob to get things going and start the necessary bookings.

Finally can we ask all of your help in trying to find as many other members of the entry so that we may invite them to join with us and get as many of us together for the weekend.

So if you have details of anyone from the entry, please either contact them and let us know and additionally see if they will contact me so that we can include them in the planned get together.
